Tomb of Nabi Ayub (Tomb of Prophet Job)
The guide will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Salalah city and then an unforgettable journey will begin.Traveling by a private air-conditioned 4×4 Jeep vehicle with a local Omani experienced driver-guide, explore amazing views that Al Qara Mountains (Dhofar Mountains) offer till the way to the ancient tomb of the Prophet Ayub (also known as Prophet Job) – a white rectangular concrete building with a central dome.
Under the building, lies the grave of the prophet, covered with green sheet. Just besides the tomb, in a small square block, you can see the foot print of the prophet. During Khareef season, you will find many colorful makeshift stalls, selling variety of fresh fruits, toys and tea.
Ittin Cave Park
The view of Salalah city is stunning from the Ittin Cave Park, which has a mini walkway to the caves. The visible areas of the city from the altitude of Dhofar Mountains are Awqad, Raysut, Salalah Port, Arabian Sea and Salalah International Airport.
From the bottom of the mountain to the next destination, the drive will be through the road laid between the plains, mountains and the beaches. If you are lucky, you will be able to see camels passing by on the road.
Mughsail Beach
The next stop will be one of the most visited place in Dhofar – the white sand beach of Al Mughsayl. The landscape of this place is simply amazing, the mountains at the background, sound of the waves of the Arabian sea, man-made huts and natural coconut trees providing the shades and the endless sand to walk on.
Mughsail Lagoon / Mughsayl Creek
On the Mughsail Lagoon, you will be fascinated to find lot of migrating birds. The lagoon is a habitant for the migrating birds from Africa, Asia and Europe, including flamingos. Sit, relax and watch the birds.
Mughsail Blowholes / Marneef Cave
After this amazing place, the next wonder on the western side awaits you. Mughsail Blowholes (geysers or Natural Fountain) are 50 steps away from the Marneef Cave. During Khareef season, due to high tides and rough sea, the blow hole water jets are as high as 28 meters in the sky. In other seasons its lesser in height and in some days of the year it’s near to nothing. The landscape of this area is unique and that makes the attraction a must visit place in any time of the year.
Masood Hidden Beach

- This tour involves walking on the rough and inclined ground.
- Maximum number of passengers are 4 in the 4×4 SUV due to safety. If you are more people, we can arrange a mini van or a coaster, for which there will be an additional charges.
- A Local Omani Lunch can be provided during the tour, which will be charged as 5 Omani Rials (15 USD) per person. Kids will be free. The local food will be meat grilled on the stones and is known as Madabhe. This is a special food in Dhofar.
- The tour will start as per your convenience. Our recommended time to start the morning tour is from 8 am to 10 am and for the sunset tour is 2 pm.
