How to Arrive in Salalah?
You can arrive to Salalah through air, by bus, by car, by cruise.

Salalah by Bus
In addition to the flights, Salalah is accessible by road from Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Sharjah / Al-Ain (UAE has a border with Oman) and from other Gulf states through UAE. From Dubai to Salalah, the travel time is around 12 to 16 hours, depending on the type of vehicle. Dubai to Salalah by bus is a very common mode of transportation.

Visa Requirements
Oman Visa on Arrival can be issued at Oman Border (coming by car or bus) and Salalah Airport / Muscat Airport (coming by airplane) only if you are eligible.

Places to Visit in Salalah

4. Walk at the Pristine Mirbat Beach and Leave Footprints
Mirbat Oman (مرباط ، عمان) a fishing town some 75 kilometers East of Salalah, is one of the ten wilayats of Dhofar Governorate. There are many lovely beaches in Mirbat and on the way to Mirbat from Salalah. Some of them will definitely persuade you to stop your vehicle on the way to Mirbat. Ad Dahariz Beach, is one of the best beaches in Salalah. It’s a long stretch of pristine, white sand beach surrounded by coconut trees. 7. Drive to Remember
Ayn Sahalnoot (Sahalnoot Spring) or Wadi Sahalnoot (Sahalnoot Valley) is one of the most popular places to visit in Salalah. The valley has impressive and beautiful natural scenery. 8. Capture the View of Salalah City from Ittin

10. Drive Car at Neutral Gear at Salalah Anti Gravity Point

17. Get Inside the Castle
There are 2 prominent castle / Fort in Dhofar Region, one is know as Taqa Castle (located in Taqa) while the other one is Mirbat Fort (located in Mirbat).
18. Visit Tombs of Prophet Ayub (Job) and Prophet Umrah
