This post is about Diving Salalah. Scuba diving is a form of underwater diving where the diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) which is completely independent of surface supply, to breathe underwater. Diving in Salalah is done in Mirbat, Oman, which is 70 kilometers from Salalah.

Details about Salalah Diving
We offer deep sea diving through our partner who is PADI licensed.
The beach dive is at one of the secluded beaches in Mirbat. The drive from Salalah to Mirbat is amazing from Salalah City. It is on the coastal highway that has Arabian Sea on one side while Dhofar Mountains on the other. If you have a day in Salalah, we recommend this one.
In Mirbat, there are multiple sites to choose from – Eagle Bay, China Wreck, Rocky Beach, Marriott wreck, Hamdy Rock East, Hamdy Rock West, Turtles Alley, Ministry line, Ras Mirbat, Coral Garden. Some of these can be done after going into deeper sea with the boat in Mirbat.
There will be 2 dives for each adult.
This is Certified Divers package. If you are not a certified diver, you need to book Discovery Scuba Diving for Non-Divers

Availability of this Diving Tour
- This tour is available from January to April and October to December each year.
- From May to September, the trip is not available due to high tides in the sea.

Duration Approx 4 to 6 hours
Additional Info
- Bring hat and sufficient sun protection cream.
- We don’t provide towels, please bring yours for personal hygiene.
- Certain medical conditions may prevent you from scuba diving such as asthma and heart conditions. If you are currently taking any medications, or are unsure about your fitness to dive, please have a look at the Diving Medical Questionnaire.
- Provide license if you are a certified diver.
- Small group for your safety and enjoyment.
- The prices are for 2 dives. If you want 1 dive, you can write that in the comment, and the price will be reduced. But since others will be doing 2 dives so the drop off will be after all divers complete the 2 dives.
- Normally, each dive is 40 to 50 minutes maximum time.
- Start time for the tour is 7:45 am from Hilton. The pick up time for other hotels will be based on the location to the diving site.
- 10 years old kid can dive, please add this as an adult in the booking.
