What are Travertine Curtains in Oman?
Travertine Curtains are pockmarked rocks on the cliff face, which is a common geological formation in Dhofar. These marks happen when the original sand stone has been dissolved by the water.
Waterfall at the Travertine Curtain
There are two things which can happen based on season regarding waterfall at this place. Either you will be able to see the waterfall or not. It’s that simple.

When there is a waterfall, it is dropping from the top of the cliff (which is coming from the canal of Wadi Darbat, via cascade waterfalls). It falls on the rock pools which looks beautiful when there is ample water. The water later goes to Khor Rori.
